Plenary Lecture Title:
Quantum Versus Classical Information
Plenary Lecture Abstract:
Quantum information is information represented by systems which evolve
according to the rules of quantum mechanics. There are fundamental, ofter
surprising differences between quantum and traditional information. This
presentation is of introductory type, also including recent developments
in quantum information theory.
